EBS Technologies develops software and hardware for medical stimulation therapies, notably the Eyetronic system for treating visual field loss. The non-invasive Eyetronic therapy has demonstrated both neuroprotection and neurorestoration, reportedly slowing disease progression and restoring vision in glaucoma. Jens Ellrich and private investor Rainer Christine. EBS Technology develops a medical device aimed at treating neurological deficits resulting from stroke and brain trauma. The company’s prototype device is approved for use in clinical studies. The new funds are intended to enable the company to bring the medical device to market approval. In parallel, EBS plans to conduct further clinical trials to pursue additional indications. The company was established in 2007 and is based in Kleinmachnow, Germany. It previously received seed financing from High-Tech Gründerfonds in 2008, which supported prototype development.
