eYou is a European social network built around principles of trust, transparency and giving users control over their experience. The platform grew organically to 100,000 users in eight weeks without paid marketing, with main communities in Romania, Germany, the U.K. and France. Users spend on average 45 minutes per day on eYou across 7.7 daily sessions, and the platform reports a 43% retention rate. eYou recently launched video content, with each video automatically run through an AI fact-checking process and transcribed for accessibility, while users can disable videos in their feed. The company is run by a four-person team including cofounders Grégoire Vigroux and Jasseem Allybokus, and it aims to reach one million users within 12 months. eYou is finalizing a €1.3M seed round from a venture capital fund and business angels to accelerate its European rollout.
