FAARMS operates a digital platform and an owned logistics network that delivers agri inputs, seeds, cattle feed, farming equipment and payment services to rural households and farmers. The company partnered with Bharat BillPay to create a marketplace enabling farmers to manage recurring payments (water, gas, electricity bills, loan repayments, insurance premiums) and order products delivered to their doorstep. FAARMS currently operates in over 50,000 villages and says studies across more than 200 villages show higher double-digit growth in disposable income from using quality agri inputs. The startup plans to expand its presence to 12 states and to reach 100,000 villages by the end of 2022. It will use the new capital to scale supply and distribution channels, recruit, and advance its technological infrastructure. FAARMS is headquartered in Bengaluru.
