Overview
Founded in Tel Aviv in 2015 and formerly known as CommonSense Robotics, Fabric builds and operates automated micro-fulfillment centers that place inventory close to end consumers, enabling retailers of any size to fulfill online orders within an hour. Its proprietary robotics and software platform powers small, high-throughput sites—one deployment processes up to 600 orders per day and supports one-hour delivery windows. The company has also unveiled an automated grocery facility with three temperature zones as part of a 12-site agreement with a major Israeli grocer, showcasing its flexibility across retail categories. Fabric is now constructing a nationwide network of micro-fulfillment centers in the United States while expanding sales, operations, and technical support teams there and engineering in Tel Aviv. Management positions the company as a location-first automation provider that lowers last-mile costs for retailers. To date, Fabric has raised $135 million in venture funding, including a recent $110 million Series B. The fresh capital places the company in a cash-rich position to accelerate U.S. rollout and scale its technology platform.
