Fabric is a mobile app that lets users build "want-to" lists for entertainment and lifestyle activities by browsing hundreds of curated packs covering movies, TV, music and travel. It employs a patent-pending four-directional swipe interface and an intelligent compatibility algorithm to surface personalized and community-based recommendations and ordering. Fabric links lists to commerce partners including iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Fandango to make items actionable and facilitate purchases. The product already hosts celebrity-curated lists and the company says it is rapidly expanding coverage into additional categories. Fabric launched on the Apple App Store and emphasizes connecting points of passion with points of purchase. The company is currently closing a $1.5M seed round.
