Falcon Finance
251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, Delaware, 19808, United States
Overview
Falcon Finance operates a synthetic-dollar protocol called USDf that lets institutions, DeFi protocols, and other capital allocators mint fully over-collateralized, USD-pegged liquidity against a wide range of on-chain or tokenized real-world assets. The platform has issued more than $1.6 billion worth of USDf, making it one of the ten largest stablecoins by market capitalization. To bolster user protection, Falcon seeded a $10 million on-chain insurance fund using protocol fees, providing a buffer to honor yield obligations during periods of stress. The company recently executed the industry’s first live mint of USDf backed by tokenized U.S. Treasuries, further bridging traditional finance with DeFi liquidity. Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol and Proof of Reserve give users real-time verification that every USDf remains fully over-collateralized. Falcon is broadening USDf distribution through new exchange listings and integrations with perpetuals, real-world-asset trading venues, and yield markets. With fresh capital, the team plans to expand global fiat corridors, deepen ecosystem partnerships, and harden the resilience of its collateral model.
