FameUp is a Romanian startup offering a mobile platform that lets micro-influencers monetize their social media followings by connecting them with brands. The service currently supports Instagram and plans to expand soon to Facebook and TikTok. FameUp accepts micro-influencers with more than 500 followers and targets small businesses seeking affordable local promotion. CEO and founder Ionut Patrascoiu says the model enables local merchants to pay small amounts or offer products/services in exchange for posts. The company launched earlier this year and has raised a €2.5M seed round to scale operations. Investors include Early Game Ventures Investment Fund, UiPath founder Daniel Dines, and Marian Dinu, and DLA Piper provided legal assistance.
