Fanattac provides an online music playground where fans can interact with artists in an immersive social experience. The platform gives both major stars and emerging talent tools to communicate directly with fans and incentivize them to promote music and artist brands. The company launched a private beta at Ithaca College in New York that is available by invitation only and plans to expand to several other college campuses over the next few months. Proceeds from the recent financing are being deployed to support the initial beta release and that campus expansion. Fanattac has a full-scale public launch slated for spring 2012 and a mobile offering is currently in development. CEO and co-founder Dan Faiman is quoted describing Fanattac’s aim to become a central online destination for music discovery, sharing and community.
