Faradion develops low-cost battery materials based on sodium-ion (Na-ion) chemistry tailored to both energy and power applications. Its core products and processes target stationary storage (on- and off-grid) and electric vehicle markets. The company is led by CEO Francis Massin and has filed more than 10 patent applications covering its materials and processing methods. Faradion intends to commercialize its Na-ion technology and scale prototype production. To support those plans it raised £3.2m in a Series B funding round. The funding is earmarked for large-scale prototype production and commercialization efforts.
