Farizon is a Geely-owned maker of hybrid and electric trucks and light commercial vehicles based in Hangzhou. Its core products include hybrid and electric trucks and a planned light electric cargo van called the Super Van, which the company plans to begin selling in Europe as early as 2024. Farizon hopes the Super Van will become one of Europe’s top three e-cargo vans and is targeting expansion into Europe, Asia-Pacific, South America and the Middle East. The majority of Farizon’s sales currently come from China: it sold about 37,800 light commercial vehicles in China in 2022 and 24,760 vehicles between January and May 2023. Farizon said it hopes to reach 150,000 units sold by the end of the year, and the company said it already produced that number of commercial vehicles. The company plans to use new funding to expand operations outside China and to further its technology and product development.
