Farmhouse Culture, founded in 2008 by Kathryn Lukas and led by CEO John Tucker, produces probiotic-rich foods and beverages. Its product portfolio includes four varieties of fermented vegetables (beets, carrots, cauliflower, etc.), the Gut Shots™ probiotic drink line, and Kraut Krisps™ kraut-based snacks. Products are sold in select natural and specialty retailers across the United States. The company is based in Watsonville, California. In September 2017 it completed a new financing round to support growth. Management said the funds will be used to accelerate national expansion of its product lines.
