Overview
Founded in 2022 in Worcestershire, FARx offers next-generation multi-factor authentication that simultaneously analyses a user’s speech content, speaker characteristics, and facial features. Its proprietary AI core continually learns each individual, enabling real-time detection and blocking of synthetic voices, deepfakes, recorded audio, and video attacks. The technology is already embedded in comitFS’ Communication Application Server trading platform, which is used by more than half of the world’s investment banks. FARx is marketing its solution to sectors such as finance, healthcare, retail, education, gaming, and call-centre operations where secure, seamless identity verification is critical. Use cases range from authenticating traders on banking systems to continuously verifying clinicians and patients in healthcare settings. The company’s fused biometric approach aims to surpass traditional password or single-modality systems by unifying face and voice data into a single, robust digital ID. Prior to the latest funding, FARx had carried out years of R&D and consulting, and it now plans to accelerate further development and broaden industry adoption.
