Fateless is a community-first game studio founded in 2023 that develops Godforge, a cross-platform RPG focused on hero collection, player agency, and immersive storytelling. The studio emphasizes community collaboration, involving players in design and feedback and testing via an Alpha with a custom mode called “Caverns of Chaos.” Fateless highlights fair monetisation and aims to evolve the hero collector genre with cinematic visuals and strategic depth. The team was formed by Simon “HellHades” Lockerby, Dan “Phixion” Francis, and Hisham “Sham” Saleh and draws on experience in RPGs and hero-collection titles. Fateless reports an engaged audience of over 2 million players across its YouTube channels, website, Discord and social media, which has been a key driver of community funding and early engagement. Godforge is scheduled for a full worldwide launch in Q1 2026.
