Favorited offers a livestream platform with features such as gifting (coins purchased with real money), interactive games, streaks, leaderboards, battles and collaborations to drive real-time engagement. The app enforces a minimum of 100 followers to start a stream while anyone can join existing streams. Favorited touts a competitive 70/30 revenue split for creators and highlights creator success stories (one creator reportedly earned over $40,000 in a month). The company says it has more than 750,000 users, about 1.3 million app installs, and is generating over $4 million in monthly revenue; creators were gifted more than $2.5 million in the past week. Founded last year by David Tesler and Zach Ferraro, the team has doubled from 10 to 20 employees and is using new capital to fund product development. The founders say they plan to scale globally and are in discussions with strategic investors about additional external capital, though they do not necessarily need it.
