Feebris

Stolberger Str. 313, Aachen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, 52072, Germany

Overview

Feebris develops an AI engine that pairs with off-the-shelf sensors (digital stethoscopes, pulse oximeters) and proprietary algorithms to identify physiological markers indicating patient deterioration. The company focuses on respiratory conditions—including pneumonia, COPD and asthma—and on vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly. Founded in 2017 by Elina Naydenova and Adam Bacon, Feebris is based in London and has been supported by the HS. health tech accelerator and the Social Tech Trust charity. In 2018 cofounder Naydenova received $100,000 (£80,000) from the Children’s Prize Foundation to scale Feebris’ work in India, including a Mumbai programme aiming to help 10,000 children. Feebris was selected for the first 2019 Google for Startups Residency cohort. It has secured £1.1m in seed funding, including a grant from Innovate UK and investment from 24 Haymarket, to support its AI-enabled platform connecting community care and providers.
