feld.energy is a Germany-based agricultural photovoltaics (Agri-PV) company that designs and installs modular, machine-friendly solar arrays for arable fields, pastures, and speciality crops. Operating end-to-end—from feasibility studies through construction—it enables dual land use without compromising agricultural output. Through a lease model, participating farms can earn more than €100,000 over 20 years while continuing normal farming operations. The approach is intended to bolster farm income, reduce water use, and advance Germany’s transition toward its 2050 target of roughly 60 % renewable energy in gross final consumption.
