Overview

FenSens’ flagship product is a wireless parking sensor that pairs with a free mobile app, installs in about five minutes, and retails for $150. The company says it is developing several other products to add newer-car features to older vehicles and intends to build a platform of connected devices for the car. FenSens was co‑founded by Andy Karuza, Mohammad Juma, Danny Loung, and Henry Wong; Karuza serves as CEO. The startup reports retail contracts with Best Buy, Sharper Image, and Allstate as early commercial traction. Financially, FenSens bootstrapped with founder financing for the first 1.5 years, ran an equity crowdfunding campaign on Seedinvest, and recently closed a $500,000 fundraising round. Management says the product is already paid for, they have two more products developed, and they closed the round with an investment from Capital Factory at a $3M valuation.
