Founded in 2018 by Carolin-Carmen Neubauer, Fero develops cloud-based robotic process automation and ERP products for the supply-chain sector. Its flagship product, TiA (Transport Interactive Assistant), functions like an Alexa for logistics teams, listening, understanding, speaking, and messaging across multiple platforms to relieve staff of repetitive tasks. The software ecosystem also includes transport ERP modules aimed at ‘Uberizing’ freight forwarding workflows. Companies deploy TiA to automate shipment updates, bookings, and other back-office processes, reducing manual intervention. Following its latest capital infusion, Fero plans to hire additional engineers to deepen product capabilities and build more integrations with freight ERPs. The company will also direct resources toward expanding its footprint across Europe.
