Fiagon AG, based in Hennigsdorf near Berlin, manufactures clinical navigation systems built around its proprietary 'FlexSensor' technology. Its systems are used internationally, including in the USA and China, across maxillofacial, neuro and spinal surgery. Led by CEO Dr. Timo Krüger and CTO Dr. Dirk Mucha, the company supplies surgical navigation solutions to clinical markets. Fiagon raised $7.5m in funding and intends to use the proceeds to expand its product portfolio. Backers include Donghai Securities and the German Startups Group; the company has also increased its capital. Fiagon is strengthening strategic expertise on its supervisory board with appointments from Fresenius Medical Care, World of Medicine and Donghai Securities.
