Fiberspar designs and manufactures advanced spoolable composite pipeline products marketed as LinePipe™, used by crude oil and natural gas producers in gathering systems, pipeline remediation, and disposal and injection applications. Its products are manufactured in Houston and deployed from 12 distribution facilities located across the US and Canada. The company sells into upstream and midstream applications where spoolable composite pipe is an alternative to conventional steel pipe. Fiberspar will use recently received proceeds to reduce debt and to expand manufacturing capacity. Financially, the company has secured a major strategic investment intended to support growth and balance sheet improvement. Macquarie Capital acted as Fiberspar’s financial advisor on the transaction.
