Fidelis Finance is a Burkinabè credit institution that specializes in leasing operations and is led by businessman Abdoulaye Kouafilann Sory. The firm opened its shareholding to institutional and individual investors to strengthen its capital base. It obtained an equity and quasi-equity investment of €7.6 million (about $8.2 million) from Yeelen Financial Fund to bolster its capital. The financing comprises €3.3 million in equity and €4.3 million as a convertible subordinated loan. The investment will support Fidelis Finance's organic transformation project into a universal bank and its plan to raise capital from €9.5 million to €32.8 million. Other new shareholders include the Caisse nationale de sécurité sociale du Togo, Yeshi Group and individual investors from the UEMOA region; the investment agreement was signed in Abidjan on 9 July 2024 and published on 11 July.
