Overview
eFarmer offers a mobile application that pairs with a satellite antenna mounted on farm machinery to give precise location data and recommend efficient fieldwork patterns. The system targets small farmers (up to ~100 hectares) who cannot afford large, OEM-installed GPS systems, and the company estimates its app can save users up to 10% on fuel and materials. eFarmer currently uses antennas from various Ukrainian manufacturers while working to launch its own hardware production. The team of about 10 people operates across the Netherlands, Ukraine and Germany and is already cooperating with growers in roughly 30 countries. The company reports it is breaking even while ramping up its business and will switch from one-time licensing to a subscription model in September (planned pricing: €20/month plus a one-off €200 antenna payment). Current pricing is a €250 app license and a €1,250 antenna; the website supports 10 languages.
