Overview
FieldLens offers a mobile field-management app designed to let construction professionals document, assign and manage jobsite issues using smartphones, tablets or the Web. The platform connects entire project teams and mirrors real-world workflows to enable collaboration across projects. It launched commercially in March 2014 and is led by CEO Doug Chambers. The company plans to accelerate product adoption and continue developing new features, including analytics tools. A major focus will be on building virtual onboarding and coaching tools for customers. FieldLens is actively hiring to support growth and product development. FieldLens provides construction project teams with real-time mobile access to critical job-site data to replace paperwork, emails, faxes and site visits. The platform streamlines communication among managers, contractors, architects, engineers, design consultants, real estate developers and secondary service providers using tools such as video, tagging and touch screen. The company was founded in 2011 by CEO Doug Chambers, Matt Sena and David Small and is based in New York City. FieldLens is in private beta and expects to be available for open beta by November 2012. It raised $1.925M in seed funding and intends to use the proceeds to continue developing its platform.
