Trekea SAS is a Paris-based startup that operates a platform for travelers to record, share and manage their journeys. Founded in 2012 by president Jean-Marc DeBaud, the company launched LiveTrekker, which combines a mobile app, cloud and web technologies to let travelers capture surroundings and events on the go. LiveTrekker enables live sharing with friends during trips and enrichment of journeys post-travel. At launch the app was available for iOS, with an Android version planned. Trekea also has a distributor in the State of Delaware, United States. The company raised €1.3M in Series A financing from Geofinance S.
