Fig is a San Francisco, CA-based gaming crowdfunding platform that funds and helps develop games with direct community support. Led by CEO Justin Bailey, the company works with both well-known independent studios and up-and-coming indie teams. Fig provides development advances and offers publishing, distribution and marketing support when games are ready for launch. The platform lets the community publish games through crowdfunding and investment campaigns and share in the projects' success. When games that complete campaigns start selling, the developer, Fig and community shareholders share revenue. In January 2017 Fig raised $7.84m in a Series A led by Spark Capital and Greycroft and said it will use the funds to expand operations.
