Figtree Financing is a San Diego-based PACE clean energy financing business that provides funds to property owners to install energy efficiency, renewable energy and water conservation upgrades. Led by CEO Mahesh Shah, the company operates a tech platform that approves homeowners online and integrates into its partners’ systems. Its PACE financing is repaid on property tax bills and supports a broad range of improvements, including solar, heating and air conditioning, windows, water-efficiency measures and seismic retrofits. The company raised $30M in Series A funding and intends to use the proceeds to launch a residential PACE financing program. It also plans to accelerate its commercial PACE financing platform within and outside of California.
