Filestage builds an online proofing SaaS that lets creative teams quickly share, review and approve content ranging from PDFs to video and audio files. Its customers span sectors including healthcare, retail and mobility, and include Braun Medical Devices, Sharp, Sixt, dm, GroupM, Lufthansa, Rabobank and Cambridge University Press. Braun Medical Devices reported a 75% reduction in review turnaround time after using the platform. The company will use the €2.8 million Series A funding to further develop the product, with particular investment planned for AI and analytics capabilities. The product is positioned as an alternative to email and legacy commenting tools such as Adobe Acrobat, MS Office and Dropbox. The team aims to reduce review friction and centralize feedback for creative workflows. The company intends to use the funds to continue development of its web application, add new review features for websites, social media posts and PowerPoint presentations, and to invest in customer support.
