RHLvision Interactive LLP is a Startup Village incubatee that developed Fin, a Bluetooth-enabled, gesture-based wearable allowing users to assign actions to finger segments as hot keys for phones, TVs, car systems and more. Fin enables control by moving the thumb over other fingers to swipe, take photos, share files, and operate in-car systems without removing hands from the wheel. The company raised $202,551 on Indiegogo from 1,161 backers and had originally targeted $100,000 before revising the goal twice to $150,000 and then $250,000. Backers are to receive the product and merchandise starting September this year, per the campaign. RHLvision was founded in 2012 by Rohildev N (B.Tech in computer science and engineering) and previously raised an undisclosed amount from Malik Radix Healthcare last year. The crowdfunding result was described as arguably the highest amount raised by an Indian startup on a crowdfunding platform and is expected to encourage other Indian entrepreneurs to use crowdfunding.
