FINALCAD

4 Rue Jules Lefebvre, Paris, Ile-de-France, 75009, France

Overview

Finalcad offers a SaaS and mobile app that helps construction site engineers, foremen, architects and consultants collaborate digitally across drawings, BIM models, tasks, controls, safety procedures and progress monitoring. The company was founded in 2012 by Jimmy Louchart, Joffroy Louchart and David Vauthrin and positions itself as a tool for company-wide digital transformation rather than per-project sales. Its subscription model is based on a percentage of a customer’s turnover and Finalcad implements a change-management methodology to drive workforce adoption. The product spans buildings, infrastructure, energy, operations and maintenance and provides analytics to surface best practices at the company level. Finalcad currently has 170 employees across 12 countries and plans to hire an additional 100 people globally. It intends to invest in R&D for its Construction Insight Platform and to extend its SaaS footprint across its covered verticals. FINALCAD provides mobile apps and predictive analytics to help construction stakeholders anticipate and fix issues found during a building’s journey. Its mobile-first, BIM-integrated platform is available natively on iOS, Android and Windows and supports 30 languages for on-site use on tablets and smartphones. Since 2011 it has delivered more than 10,000 projects across 30 countries, totaling over 20 million jobsite observations and nearly 10 million photos; customers include Bouygues, VINCI, Daewoo, Fujita and Capitaland. FINALCAD plans to use the $20 million Series B to fund international business development, expand into sectors such as civil infrastructure and energy, and accelerate research and development. R&D priorities cited in the press release include smart data analytics, AI for object recognition, augmented reality linked to BIM, digitization of lean construction processes, and open API interoperability. The company has demonstrated rapid growth, appearing in Deloitte’s Fast 500 EMEA and Fast 50 France with cumulative growth of 827% over four years.
