Findo builds an AI-driven smart search assistant that indexes data across Dropbox, Evernote, Gmail, Google Drive, OneDrive, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, iCloud and local devices to enable natural-language queries. The product creates both a keyword index and a semantic index, extracting entities (companies, people, locations, meeting recaps, events, agendas, tickets, invoices) and connecting them in a knowledge graph. It ships in five form factors: web app, iOS app, Messenger bots (Slack, Facebook Messenger, Skype, Telegram), a Chrome extension and an iMessage app. Findo recently signed an integration with PDF software vendor Foxit that will let Foxit’s 425 million users classify and compare PDFs and edit PDFs while using Findo. The company reports high retention among users who connect more than four accounts. Its consumer pricing includes an Advanced plan at $4.99/month (search within six months) and an Ultimate plan at $9.99/month (unlimited search history). Findo.io provides an AI search assistant that locates information dispersed across documents, slides, audio files, images and multiple cloud and messaging sources. The product indexes and searches content from services such as Slack, Skype, Facebook, Telegram, Dropbox, Gmail, Google Drive, Evernote, Exchange, Outlook, macOS, Windows 10 and iOS. Findo also offers search bots that return results directly inside Slack, Telegram, Facebook Messenger and Skype, and includes collaboration features that let groups find and share information without leaving chat. The mobile app is available on the App Store and the product is accessible at Findo.io. The team comprises 16 engineers, AI scientists and managers, including two PhDs, and the company has nine filed patents. Financially, the company announced a $3M Series Seed 1 investment from Abbyy PLC.
