Fineos is a Dublin-based insurance tech provider. The company secured A$40 million from professional and other institutional investors to strengthen its capital position. The funding comprises A$35 million fully underwritten from institutional investors and a further A$5 million conditional investment from founder and CEO Michael Kelly. The A$5 million is subject to shareholder approval at the company’s next AGM. Management said the capital gives Fineos the financial flexibility to deliver on its growth strategy, and Kelly thanked the firm’s security holders for their strong support.
