Finishers operates a race discovery and event-management platform that references road races, trail runs, walks and soon triathlons, and helps organizers with communication and participant management. After nearly three years of development the company reports more than 6M unique visitors in 2023 and over 11,000 referenced events across France and Europe. Finishers says it supports more than 600 event organizers and has a team of 22 people. The product roadmap funded by this raise includes new features and services to help runners search and select races, and enhanced tools to help organizers grow and manage events. The company also plans to expand beyond running into sports such as swimming and cycling and to widen its geographic footprint to markets including the UK, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Nordic countries and Greece. Finishers is recruiting new team members and will use the funding to accelerate product and market expansion.
