FINLIUM
Kurfürstendamm 167-168, Berlin, 10707, Germany
Overview
Founded in 2018 by Dr. Florian Mann, Dr. Adrian Fabarius, Carsten Mann and Jan Liero, FINLIUM develops algorithm-driven investment products aimed at risk-averse retail customers who have traditionally avoided the stock market. Its first product, a ‘stable return’ mutual fund launched in November 2022, combines an equity-index-options strategy with a bond portfolio to create a dynamically managed return corridor. In its first year the fund delivered roughly 8 % p.a. with markedly lower risk, attracting more than 2,000 customers. Assets under management expanded from €1 million to €17 million in just over twelve months, and FINLIUM earns success-based fees through a direct-to-consumer model. The new capital will finance additional product innovations, the rollout of an institutional B2B share class, enhanced content marketing, and further team growth. By focusing on steady returns and educational outreach, the company seeks to convert Germany’s large base of non-investors into long-term market participants.
