Apollo Insurance is a Toronto-based digital insurance provider and embedded finance innovator whose proprietary platform lets insurance agents and customers purchase policies immediately, from anywhere, on any device, 24/7. Launched in 2019, the company has partnered with property management companies, proptechs, and insurance brokers to embed insurance products into existing workflows; partners include QuadReal, InterRent, and Yardi Systems. Apollo recently launched FinShore, a wholly owned buy‑now‑pay‑later subsidiary that provides a fully embedded monthly payment option to over 100,000 Canadians insured with Apollo. FinShore is positioned to allow Canadians, particularly renters, to spread insurance premium payments and to support Apollo’s cohort of insurance broker partners who use the APOLLO platform. The company is led by CEO Jeff McCann. Apollo secured CAD$18.5m in financing arranged by Fair Capital Partners with Innovation Federal Credit Union as lender.
