Firecell, now merged with fellow 5G specialist Accelleran, offers a single-stack private 5G solution that combines Firecell’s core network and network-management software with Accelleran’s programmable RAN, management and AI capabilities. The platform supports all FDD and TDD spectrum bands, delivers sub-millisecond latency for thousands of concurrent IoT devices, enables network slicing and mission-critical voice services, and integrates AI-driven optimisation through xApps and rApps. Designed and developed entirely in Europe, the software can be deployed on-premise to guarantee data sovereignty for ports, factories, defence sites and logistics facilities. The combined company will operate under the Firecell brand, doubling its engineering and commercial footprint with teams across France, Belgium, the UK, Germany and Poland, and active deployments in Europe, the U.S. and Asia. Management believes the unified, hardware-agnostic stack will simplify multi-site private 5G roll-outs for system integrators and accelerate industrial autonomy. The merger is supported by a €7.9 million investment round from existing backers, providing fresh capital for product integration and market expansion.
