Fireglass is a stealth cybersecurity company preparing to launch its first major enterprise security product. The New York-based firm, founded in 2014, says it takes a progressive approach to protecting data from prying eyes. The company reports strong responses from deployments at Fortune 500 enterprises seeking to boost and consolidate protection measures. Fireglass plans to use new funding to expand research and development and to build out sales, marketing and support teams in North America and Europe. Management says the product will enable businesses to operate both productively and securely as it moves toward commercial launch.
