FirstUp operates managed office and flexi workspaces and a shared studio-as-a-service targeting enterprise clients, small businesses, solo-preneurs and gig economy professionals. The company is led by founder and CEO Karan Daga and is based in Raipur, India. Today it has 250+ seats in Civil Lines next to the Governor House and is expanding into a full-fledged building with about 750+ seats coming soon. FirstUp raised capital in a seed round and plans to use funds to open more centres in the city, elsewhere in the state and in other states. The product mix and expansion plans emphasize both creator-focused studio capacity and traditional coworking offerings.
