Overview
Fitcode is a Seattle, WA-based fashion-data company that pairs consumers with jeans that fit. Its core product is a fit quiz that delivers personalized, fit-based style recommendations integrated into retailer sites. The company expanded from a women’s fit tool (including petite and plus) to a newly launched men’s fit tool in partnership with Silver Jeans Co. The women’s tool has been integrated on silverjeans.com since fall 2017, and Fitcode has previously integrated with JOE’S Jeans, AG, Hudson Jeans, JAG Jeans, and others. Fitcode reports 200,000 users and counting. The company says it will use the funds to deliver on its product roadmap, execute its omnichannel vision, and support growth. Led by co-founder and CEO Rian Buckley, Fitcode continues to expand retailer integrations. Fitcode is a fashion-technology company that improves online denim shopping by matching women to one of nine Fitcodes via a four-question quiz. The platform is free to consumers and available at www.fitcode.com across devices, letting users browse curated denim selections and purchase through Fitcode or the retailer’s site. Fitcode supports a growing set of retail and denim partners including Nordstrom, 7 For All Mankind, Citizens of Humanity, Hudson, J Brand, JOE’s Jeans, Kut from the Kloth, Not Your Daughter’s Jeans and Paige. Founded in 2014 and based in Seattle, the company plans to add more brands, retailers and plus-sized denim in coming months. It raised $1.8M in Series A funding from Harvey Partners to scale operations, build a native mobile app and enhance user experience. Fitcode also intends to cultivate a partnership program with retailers to expand its network.
