Fitprime operates a monthly membership marketplace that lets users browse classes and facilities in an app and visit multiple sports centers without heavy restrictions. The Rome-based startup, founded in 2016, built a product similar to Berlin’s Urban Sports Club. During Covid the company launched Fitprime TV, a platform offering thousands of on-demand and live home-workout lessons led by trainers. The startup raised €2.5 million to fund further expansion and to prepare for international markets. Part of the new funding will be used to expand the Fitprime TV offering. The company’s core product remains a combined online marketplace and multi-center sports membership service.
