Five Degrees offers Matrix, a web-based BPM automated banking services platform that functions as a mid-office environment and can connect to legacy back offices or use the Matrix back office. The platform integrates with external services such as KYC checks, passport validation and personal financial management (PFM), and supports any segment, product or channel. Clients deploy the technology through a portal in predefined configurations including full retail and SME banking, savings banks, private banking and microfinance. Led by CEO Martijn Hohmann, the company intends to use the newly raised capital to continue expanding operations, invest in product development and pursue international expansion. The company raised €10m in venture capital funding announced in November 2016.
