Founded in 2026 and based in Copenhagen, Flare is developing infrastructure to validate and evaluate statements at internet scale by using transparent, structured systems and collective intelligence. Its platform is designed to surface which claims are supported and which are not, aiming to address the speed and scale at which AI can generate convincing but unverified content. The team includes hires with experience from Google, Unity, IBM, Amazon and Corti. Following a €3.6 million pre-Seed raise led by 20VC, Flare intends to spend the capital on compute, salaries and hiring to increase the team from six to around eight employees. The company positions itself within the broader AI trust and verification landscape rather than general cybersecurity.
