Flash provides a scan-and-pay QR-code app that lets customers add existing bank cards or digital wallets and pay merchants by scanning merchant-generated QR codes in-store or on delivery. The platform removes the need for expensive NFC-enabled POS systems by enabling low-tech QR payments that any camera-equipped phone can use. Flash has approval from the Central Bank of Egypt to operate as a technical payment aggregator and runs its service in partnership with Banque Misr. Its product suite includes Flash on Delivery, automated bill payments and behavioral spending insights, with customers such as e-commerce platforms and COD-reliant merchants (pharmacies, restaurants, grocery shops). The startup says it is processing 50,000 transactions and is approaching over 10 million EGP (~$324,000) in cumulative transaction value, while revenue from merchant processing fees is growing about 30% month-on-month. Flash plans to accelerate product development and merchant acquisition, targeting to serve over 100 businesses in the next 12 months.
