FlexEnable develops and industrializes flexible organic electronics, delivering a platform of manufacturing processes and its FlexiOM™ organic semiconductor materials. The platform enables manufacture of glass-free, flexible OLCD displays and liquid crystal optical films (LC Optics) in existing display fabs. OLCD and LC Optics are ultra-thin, light, flexible and 3D conformable, with a US$100Bn addressable market spanning notebooks, tablets, smart home devices, AR/VR headsets, automotive, monitors and TVs. The company plans to finance and support a mass-production ramp of flexible displays and liquid crystal optical modules at Asian display manufacturing partners. It also intends to scale up organic materials production capacity to meet the needs of display manufacturing partners entering volume production. FlexEnable is led by CEO Chuck Milligan and is based in Cambridge, UK.
