Flick is a live group chat platform that enables sports influencers to authentically engage fans in branded spaces during live games. The company was founded by FanDuel co-founders Nigel Eccles and Rob Jones and launched in early 2018. The platform is used in over 180 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and India, and reports user-base growth of 45% month-on-month since May. Flick completed a $5 million Series A led by AlleyCorp, bringing total funding to $9 million. With the new funding the company plans to expand its team, integrate with sports betting, and build the platform across multiple sports and geographies. Kevin Ryan of AlleyCorp will join Flick’s board and Nigel Eccles serves as the company’s CEO.
