Overview
Flink Robotics is an ETH spin-off developing FlinkAutonomy, a software platform with built-in physical intelligence that enables industrial robots to perceive and react to changes in dynamic environments. The technology combines advanced machine perception with a differentiable physics engine to turn robots into plug-and-play systems for material handling. Founders Moritz Geilinger (CEO), Simon Huber (CTO), and CSO Prof. Dr Stelian Coros originate from the Computational Robotics Lab and the ETH AI Center at ETH Zurich. The company targets material handling tasks such as packaging, sorting, and unloading, where human labor still dominates outside controlled environments. Initial customers are in parcel delivery and end-of-line packaging industries, where labor shortages are most acute. Flink Robotics will use the CHF 150,000 from Venture Kick to accelerate its go-to-market strategy and undertake additional pilot projects; the funding has also been instrumental in launching the company, securing first customers, and developing the initial product.
