FLINTpro
1536 Wynkoop St, Suite 527, Denver, CO, 80202, United States
Overview
FLINTpro builds a software system that integrates and analyses multiple data streams and earth-sensing methodologies to measure and manage carbon and natural capital across forests, agriculture, grasslands, coastal areas and soils. Its platform is used by finance, government and business leaders to model and understand the opportunities and impacts of land management decisions and to support reporting on carbon, greenhouse gases, biodiversity, water and soil. Founded in 2014 in Canberra as the land use consultancy Mullion Group by Dr Rob Waterworth, the company began as an open-source platform and took on seed investors in 2018 before commercialising a Pro product. FLINTpro relocated its headquarters to the US last year and counts the NSW government and multiple sub-national governments among its clients. While it supports carbon credit market clients, FLINTpro positions its commercial opportunity around natural risk reporting tied to financial disclosures and Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. The platform emphasizes data integrity to reduce greenwashing risk and enable organisations to meet increasingly complex reporting and emissions-reduction requirements.
