FlitWays was founded in 2013 to solve the first/last-mile problem for business travelers. Its platform aggregates rideshares, taxis, executive cars and shuttles across around 170 cities and services over 400 airports with a fleet of more than 20,000 vehicles. The company focuses on B2B customers, supplying curated mobility solutions to corporations and travel resellers and has partnered with organizations such as TUI Group, Xerox and Megabus. FlitWays recently announced international expansion plans in South America and Southeast Asia that include over 40 new cities. In December 2016 the company raised $1.2M, with $700,000 already received from private investors and the founder and an additional $500,000 in a signed agreement payable within 30 days. Management says the capital will be used to accelerate growth, innovation and ongoing international expansion.
