Float is developing its first product, called ツSupercut. The company plans to launch a beta release in the coming weeks and is taking sign-ups for early access. Float closed a €1.6M seed round led by Point Nine Capital to accelerate development and rollout of Supercut. A group of angel investors joined the round, including Koen Bok (Framer), Christan Reber and Niklas Jansen (Interface Capital and founders of Wunderlist, Blinkist, Pitch and Superlist), Soleio, and Robert Muñoz (Typeform). Float is also adding two advisors, Linus Ekenstam and Murat Mutlu, to support product and design work. The company says the funding will help expedite the first product’s delivery and early access program.
