Float provides a cash flow forecasting and budgeting solution used by small to medium-sized businesses and accounting firms. Led by co-founder and CEO Colin Hewitt, the service integrates with Xero, QuickBooks Online and FreeAgent and includes a "what-if scenarios" tool to model the financial impact of decisions. It is used by thousands of businesses worldwide to view real-time cash status and support reporting, decision making and planning. In 2019 the company launched a partnership program as a value-add service for accounting firms. Float recently completed a £1.5m seed funding round to support growth. The company plans to use the funds to open a new office in Australia, continue enhancing its partnership program and further develop its forecasting solution, and is planning 12 new hires across Sydney, global sales, product development and marketing.
