Flood provides a no-code, API-first commerce platform that enables telcos, banks and enterprises to embed marketplace capabilities—products, services, payments and logistics—into existing apps. The platform supports merchant onboarding, loyalty programs, discovery tools, real-time analytics and in-store pickup. Flood targets digitizing offline retail in emerging markets and has gained traction in South Africa, India and the Maldives. The company was founded by André de Wet. Flood recently raised $2.5 million in seed funding following a $1 million raise in July 2024. The new capital will be used to accelerate geographic expansion, form partnerships with telcos and banks, and onboard thousands of offline merchants.
